To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government in view of reports that Roscommon County Council spent approximately €739,000 on consultancy fees in 2012, if he will provide an itemised breakdown of the specific consultancy services engaged by each county council in the year 2012; and the amount spent on these consultancy services by local authorities. The information requested is not available in my Department. It is a matter for each local authority to determine its own spending priorities in the context of the annual budgetary process having regard to both locally identified needs and available resources.
