I refer to the reply to Question No. 937 of 18 September 2013. The Action Programme for Effective Local Government sets out Government decisions for a range of local government reform measures, including the establishment of modern sub-county structures that will provide a robust mechanism for connection between local government and communities, with enhanced democratic accountability and operational efficiency. There are no proposals in relation to the matter referred to in the question.
