The Forfás Annual Employment Survey reports on job gains and losses in companies that are supported by the industrial development agencies. Data is compiled on an annualized basis and is aggregated at county level. The information is provided by companies on a confidential basis for statistical purposes only. It is, therefore, not possible to provide information sought by Deputy. However, it should be noted that figures for 2012 show there were a total of 6,570 net new jobs created in IDA Ireland client companies, the third consecutive year of growth, while job losses in IDA Ireland client companies were the lowest in a decade.
