To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government if, as part of his stated approach to political reform, he has considered introducing an electoral recall facility to enable the electorate to remove elected politicians from office at times other than at a general election; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have no proposals to introduce 'electoral recall' as part of the Government's programme of political reform.
