170. To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government in the event of a developer - a quarry or other contractor - whose properties were remediated by the Pyrite Remediation Board taking legal action, that this developer would not gain any moneys for works done on the relevant houses. The issue raised in the question is speculative, and it is not appropriate to respond in respect of something which may or may not happen. Operational matters will be determined by the Pyrite Resolution Board in the context of the development and implementation of an efficient and cost effective pyrite remediation scheme.
