I propose to take Questions Nos. 361 to 363, inclusive, together.

I refer the Deputy to my reply to his Questions Nos 751 and 752 of 18 September 2013. As I stated in that reply, the body referred to by the Deputy is an independent one. As Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, I have no statutory responsibility for it or its collection, although, as I indicated, my Department has provided some assistance to it since 2011 under the Local and Regional Museums Scheme.

With regard to the redevelopment proposals, while broad support for the project has been indicated on behalf of the Government, my Department has not been involved directly, nor am I aware of any meetings of the nature referred to taking place since my Department was established.

I have no role in relation to the appointment of trustees to the Board of the Museum.

With regard to the fundraising event referred to, the Deputy will appreciate that the business of the Irish consulate in New York is a matter for my colleague, the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade.
