334. To ask the Minister for Social Protection when a person (details supplied) in County Galway may expect to receive a decision regarding an appeal on the farm assist payment they were awarded. [39634/13]

The person concerned appealed the means assessed against his Farm Assist payment and, as is procedure with appeals of assessments, his file was returned to the Social Welfare Inspector for review. This review is now complete and the means assessment has been revised.

His rate of payment has been adjusted and any arrears due to him will issue as soon as possible.
