To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if a suitable location has been found for the new bus shelter in Killorglin, County Kerry; if the required planning permission will be sought; when it is expected the new bus shelter will be operational; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The issue of bus stop improvement is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) in conjunction with the relevant transport provider. I have referred the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
