To ask the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the present land bank and or premises available for sale or leasing in County Kildare that are within the ownership or lease of any of the State agencies under the control of him and his Department in tabular form; the position regarding any applications for the leasing or purchase of such lands or property in each of the past three years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. IDA Ireland is the only State Agency under the aegis of my Department that owns property in Co. Kildare. The management of IDA Ireland’s Industrial property portfolio is a day-to-day operational matter for the Agency, as part of the statutory responsibility assigned to it by the Oireachtas, and it is not a matter in which the Minister of the day has any involvement. I have been informed by IDA that the Agency has 5 properties in County Kildare and details of the status of these properties is set out in the following tabular statement.
