I am advised by the Social Welfare Appeals Office that a revised decision favourable to the person concerned will be made by the Department of Social Protection in respect of her Incapacity Supplement claim. The person concerned will be notified of the decision shortly.

The Social Welfare Appeals Office functions independently of the Minister for Social Protection and of the Department and is responsible for determining appeals against decisions on social welfare entitlements.
