736. To ask the Minister for Health the name of each unlicensed medicine which has been made available to Irish patients in order to meet supply demands in circumstances where authorised medicine or medicines have either not been available or had insufficient supply in the years 2010, 2011 and 2012 inclusive; the total reimbursement cost to the Health Service Executive of these unlicensed medicines over each of these years; for each such medicine, if he will outline the unit reimbursement cost of the authorised medicine and the reimbursement unit cost of the unlicensed medicine; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The HSE is responsible for the supply of medicines, therefore, the matter has been referred to the HSE for attention and direct reply to the Deputy.
