There are almost one million items from the Irish Cultural Institutions on the Europeana web portal.

The institutions represented are :

- National Archives of Ireland

- National Library of Ireland

- Irish Traditional Music Archive

- The Royal Irish Academy

- National Gallery of Ireland

- The Chester Beatty Library

- Royal Irish Academy

- Crawford Gallery

- Irish Manuscripts Commission

- Irish Film Institute

In 2013, €25,000 has been allocated from my Department's Vote for Europeana participation.
