To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if a proposal was made at the General Affairs Council of the EU meeting on 22 April, which he chaired, by the Polish Minister attending the meeting, that Ireland should not be required to legalise abortion; the stand he took on the proposal; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
