I launched the National Cycle Network Seed Funding Scheme in March 2013 to provide seed funding  to local authorities for the development of proposals for high quality, off-road, greenway cycle routes.

The following 12 applications were selected for funding from a total of 35 applications. The total funding is €420,000.
