To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade his plans to meet with the Northern Ireland Secretary of State, and with Members of the Northern Ireland Executive on the need to put in place adequate funding to enable the Narrow Water bridge project proceed to construction; and if he will make a statement on the matter. On 9 July Louth County Council announced that the Narrow Water Bridge project was on hold. Consultations are underway between the SEUPB and the relevant stakeholders, and I shall await the outcome of these consultations before considering any further action.
