To ask the Minister for Health the date on which the Health Service Executive will fill the paediatric diabetes consultant post in Limerick Regional Hospital, in view of the fact that since May a consultant paediatrician specialising in diabetes has been off sick and is not expected to return till October 2014. As this is a service issue, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond directly to the Deputy in the matter.
