My Department operates a number of grant schemes of both a capital and current nature. Grant assistance is available under a number of sources including funding for Youth Organisations and Services, National Lottery Funding as well as Childcare Programmes. The matters funded under the various categories include funding for youth projects and facilities, playgrounds, equipment and general childcare facilities amongst others.

In relation to funding for projects in County Kildare, the table below details the number of projects funded in each of the last three years. I would note that my Department was only established in June 2011 and therefore information in relation to 2010 is not provided in the table of figures.
