To ask the Taoiseach if he will outline each international organisation, international agency or international body of which Ireland is a member for which his Department or a State body or agency under the aegis of his Department is responsible for or co-responsible; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has membership of the following international organisations: International Association of Prosecutors, International Society for the Reform of Criminal Law and the European Criminal Bar Association. A prosecutor employed in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, is seconded to the Department of Justice and Equality, and is based at Eurojust in the Hague. In addition Ireland is a member of the European Commission for Democracy through Law (the Venice Commission). The Irish member (Ms Finola Flanagan) and substitute member (Mr. James Hamiliton) are appointed by the Government on the nomination of the Attorney General.
