To ask the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs in view of her Department's willingness to fund a FETAC level 6 course for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 13 the reason they are unwilling to provide the same funding to this person during the first two years of a degree course in the same discipline; if this is in line with the national aftercare policy's commitment to provide aftercare services to young persons in education up to the age of 23; and if she will make a statement on the matter. As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond directly to the Deputy with the most up-to-date information.
