My department does not have any role in the issue raised by the Deputy, namely aviation safety procedures.  This is a matter for the Irish Aviation Authority, an Agency under the remit of my Department.  I have referred the Deputy's question to them for direct reply.  Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
