458. To ask the Minister for Justice and Equality if his Department or An Garda Síochána have received any complaints or requests for an investigation as a result of a BBC Panorama programme in 2001 which revealed that a large amount of hacked material forming part of the Leveson Inquiry in Britain was filtered through this State; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has no record of correspondence of the kind referred to by the Deputy. I have asked An Garda Síochána for the position insofar as they are concerned and I will contact the Deputy directly as soon as the response is to hand.
