I propose to take Questions Nos. 83 to 85, inclusive, together.
As the Deputy is aware Ireland, as President of the Council of the European Union, has prioritised work in the area of tax fraud, evasion, and aggressive tax planning. To that end Ireland brokered agreement on Ecofin council conclusions on the European Commission's Action Plan on Tax Fraud and Evasion, which contained a series of new initiatives, one of which was the creation of the Platform for Tax Good Governance which the Deputy refers to.
I believe this platform can play an important role in the fight against tax fraud, evasion, and aggressive tax planning to which Ireland is committed and therefore we will engage fully alongside our EU colleagues and the other members of the platform. To that end I have nominated a senior official of the Revenue Commissioners to be Ireland's representative to the platform.
