To ask the Minister for Health if he will provide an update on the investigation undertaken by his Department into a matter raised on 19 December 2012 regarding the provision of ambulance service in County Donegal; the specific measures and actions taken by his Department as a result of this investigation; if he will give assurances that all appropriate action has been taken to prevent such an incident from reoccurring in future; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The National Ambulance Service carried out an investigation and review of the incident to which the Deputy refers, using the HSE's Incident Review Methodology.

In relation to the specific query raised by the Deputy, as this is an operational matter, it has been referred to the HSE for direct reply.
