267. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport in view of the recent industrial action in Bus Éireann, if he has examined those routes where commuters and customers have no alternative means of transport due to lack of competition; if he intends to make changes to those routes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The issue raised is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) in conjunction with the relevant transport operators. I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
