The sculptures were provided under the Per Cent for Art Scheme.  The guidelines associated with the Scheme provided for local authorities to commission a suitable piece of artwork from the funds provided by the NRA for the construction of roads projects in their administrative area. The ownership of the sculptures rests with individual local authorities.

As Minister, I have no function in this matter.
