Details of salary and travel and subsistence costs of relevant staff appointed by each Minister and Minister of State in my Department from 2005 to the formation of the new Government in March 2011 are set out in the tables below. The ministerial appointees held the positions of Special Adviser, Press Officer, Personal Assistant, Personal Secretary or Civilian Driver during the tenure of the relevant Minister or Minister of State. In a number of instances, there were changes in individual personnel during the period of tenure, together with some work-sharing arrangements which are included in the figures below.

Salary costs provided include salary, employers PRSI and overtime. Costs relating to redundancy and severance pay are included where applicable. They are indicated by a # when included in figures.
