To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if his attention has been drawn to the injuries sustained by a person (details supplied) who was wounded by a rubber-coated steel bullet fired by the Israeli military while he filmed a protest in Palestine; and if he has raised the case with the Israeli Government.. I am aware of the case to which the Deputy refers. The Irish Embassy in Tel Aviv has carefully monitored this case, and has been in contact with the person in question on a number of occasions. The Embassy is handling the case in accordance with the wishes expressed by the person.
