I can confirm that the accident to aircraft G-BDOW at Newcastle Airfield on the 13 July 2012 is the subject of an Investigation by the Air Accident Investigation Unit (AAIU) of my Department. It is envisaged that a Draft Report will be issued to interested parties during the summer months and following consideration of any comments received, a Final Report will be published on the AAIU web site.  The nature of AAIU investigations is such that it is not possible to be definitive on a publication date.
