To ask the Minister for Justice and Equality the number of heavy goods vehicles or any other vehicles that were brought to weigh bridges by the Garda Traffic Corps in the years 2010, 2011, 2012 and to date in 2013; the number of vehicles that were found to be overweight; his plans to increase the penalties for same; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
