To ask the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if he plans to introduce legislation to compel banks to deal with the issue of abandoned property held in safe keeping in view of the fact that of this property has the potential to be of significant historic and cultural value to the Irish state; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
