I warmly welcome the positive developments at the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue. Following the agreement reached by Serbia and Kosovo, I issued a statement commending the political courage and consistent efforts shown by the Prime Ministers of both countries; and thanking High Representative Ashton for her active engagement as facilitator of the process. However it was noted that implementation of the agreement, as well as other agreements reached at the Dialogue, will be important going forward. I very much hope that this positive step for Serbia and Kosovo will provide momentum for the EU perspective of the whole region.
