Temporary Release of Prisoners

To ask the Minister for Justice and Equality the reason an inmate (details supplied) of Castlerea prison is not being released even though the Governor of the prison has cleared the prisoner for release; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17032/13]

I am advised by my officials in the Irish Prison Service that no application for temporary release has been made by the person referred to.

Should such an application be made, my officials will consider same in the normal way.
