It is a matter for each commissioning body, including local authorities, to develop, procure and manage any projects under the Per Cent For Art scheme. My Department does not have comprehensive data on projects which have incorporated an artistic feature under this scheme. General National Guidelines on the Per Cent For Art Scheme were issued by the then Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism in December 2004. These guidelines recommend that each commissioning body maintain a database of all projects funded under the scheme.
