To ask the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the position regarding a request from Killarney Town Council to the Office of Public Works to swap 21 acres from them for 12 acres from the National Park to be used for the purpose of a new burial ground; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Killarney Town Council has made a submission to my Department about this proposal. A meeting was recently held between the local authority and my Department to discuss the issue, which is now under consideration.
