To ask the Minister for Education and Skills when a decision will issue on an a application for additional funding for renovation works for a primary school (details supplied) in County Carlow. [10119/13]

In March 2012 the school referred to by the Deputy was approved devolved funding for the construction of 2 mainstream classrooms under my Departments Additional Accommodation Scheme. The school authorities have applied for additional funding to enable them build 2 mainstream classrooms and a GP Room. A member of the Department's Professional and Technical staff is due to visit the school in the coming days.

A decision on the schools application for additional funding will be made following this visit and the school authorities notified accordingly.
