Magdalen Laundries Issues

To ask the Minister for Justice and Equality if the families of persons who are now deceased but who spent time in the Magdalene Laundries will be entitled to claim from the redress board; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10110/13]

The Government have decided that any scheme introduced will only apply to living persons who were in the institutions. It will not extend to the families of persons now deceased.
