To ask the Minister for Finance the actions that will be required should the Central Bank of Ireland make a loss on disposal of the bonds it currently holds in its investment portfolio resulting from the revised arrangements in respect of the promissory notes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can advise the Deputy that the Central Bank of Ireland is a fully capitalised and independent entity and manages the risks of its investment portfolio in a prudent manner.
