To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if those who were served with notice to treat prior to the announcement of Budget 2012 are still eligible to receive the €5,000 per acre goodwill gesture which was available when negotiations commenced; the number of landowners affected by the Enniscorthy bypass, County Wexford, currently in negotiation over compensation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This Question is about the goodwill payment of €5,000 per acre which was part of an Agreement concluded with the IFA relating to land acquisition. As the implementation of individual road schemes and the arrangements in relation to individual landowners is a matter for the NRA and the local authority concerned, I have referred the question to the NRA for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you don't receive a reply within 10 working days.
