To ask the Minister for Justice and Equality in view of the recent announcement regarding Garda closures it includes the previously mooted closure of Harcourt Terrace Garda Station for which the State was forced to pay compensation to a builder (details supplied); if he will confirm if the Harcourt Terrace Garda Station is still a station that is to be closed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Commissioner's Policing Plan for 2012 proposed the closure of 39 Garda Stations which included Harcourt Terrace. Harcourt Terrace Garda Station was closed on 31 May 2012.
