To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if he will outline in tabular form the total cost of all conferences and seminars attended by his Department in 2012; the purpose of each conference/seminar; the location; the number of delegates that attended from his Department/agencies or otherwise that were represented; the total cost of each conference/seminar; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department attends and participates in conferences and seminars both in Ireland and abroad on a regular basis. It has not been possible, in the time allowed, to account for every conference or seminar attended in 2012. The following is a list of conferences/seminars attended where the fee was paid by the Department’s Training Units.
