Officials in my Department have confirmed with Student Universal Support Ireland that the student referred to by the Deputy has, on appeal, been awarded a grant and an award letter issued on 21 January 2013.

Officials in my Department have confirmed with Student Universal Support Ireland that it is in receipt of an appeal on foot of its decision on the grant application from the student in question. As soon as the appeal is reviewed, the student will be notified directly of the outcome.
