To ask the Minister for Education and Skills when a school building project will commence at a school (details supplied) in County Wicklow; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1344/13]

The tender process for the appointment of a design team to the school building project referred to by the Deputy began on 17th December 2012 when tender documents issued to the consultants on my Department's Large School Projects Framework Panel.

Following completion of the appointment the design team will commence the architectural planning process. The project has been scheduled to commence construction in 2015/16 under the 5 year construction programme announced in March 2012.
