I propose to take Questions Nos. 1180 and 1181 together.

Details of the funding arrangements for activities under the aegis of my Department, including allocations to specific statutory and non-statutory bodies, are set out in the Annual Estimates volumes that are available on the appropriate websites. My Department runs two grant programmes: The Sports Capital Programme and the Local Authority Swimming Pool Programme. The Irish Sports Council are responsible for the administration of the Grants Scheme for National Governing Bodies of Sport. Details of Sports Capital Programme payments in 2012 will be available from the Department’s website www.dttas.ie before the end of this week.

My Department part funds the operation of the Rural Transport Programme. The funding is channelled through the National Transport Authority (NTA) and disbursed by POBAL on their behalf to Rural Transport Groups.  The table below lists the Rural Transport Groups which receive funding from my Department through NTA and  POBAL.
