To ask the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the progress made to date in providing air terminals at the airstrips on Inisbofin and Cleggan; if it is intended to build these in 2013; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [57731/12]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 177 and 178 together.

My Department has engaged consultants to complete the design and tendering process for the construction of terminals at the airstrips on Inishbofin and at Cleggan. This work is ongoing. No decision has been made in relation to the provision of a subsidised air service for Inishbofin but this matter, and associated issues, remain under consideration by my Department.
