As Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, I attend the EU Council of Ministers (Agriculture and Fisheries). Since 9 March 2011 to date, there have been 21 formal meetings of the EU Council of Agriculture Ministers and 4 informal meetings. I represented Ireland at the majority of these meetings. The next Council is scheduled for 18-20 December in Brussels and I will attend. The accompanying table sets out the position in relation to the head of delegation.
