It is intended to commence the remaining sections of the Child Care (Amendment) Act 2011 i.e. the sections dealing with special care and related matters, as soon as possible. In advance of making the commencement orders Special Care Regulations and Registration Regulations under the Health Act 2007 are required and work is at an advanced stage in this regard.
