To ask the Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to any conflict between guidelines issued by his Department in 2006 Circular Letter PD 5/06 of 5 July 2006 regarding the establishment of management companies in multi-unit developments and the text of the Multi-Unit Development Act, 2010 which defines multi-unit developments; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is not aware of any such conflict. The Multi-Unit Developments Act, 2011 falls under the remit of my colleague the Minister for Justice and Equality.
