To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the position regarding the outstanding agri environment options scheme payment due to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [54934/12]

My Department has no record of having received an Agri-Environment Options Scheme (AEOS) application from the person named for AEOS I or AEOS II. Accordingly, the question of an outstanding AEOS payment does not arise. The person named was a participant in the Rural Environment Protection Scheme (REPS) with a contract end date of 31 August 2011, so it would not have been possible to make a valid application under either AEOS 1 or AEOS 2.
