To ask the Minister for Finance if, further to the chairman of Irish Bank Resolution Corporation's statement in the Oireachtas Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform on 31 October 2012 that there have been some increases in pay for a limited number of persons who had taken on extra responsibilities, he will detail the total number of persons who received these increases; if he will detail for these increases in pay what their original salary was and the amount increased; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by IBRC that this information is not readily available at this time and the compilation of this information is likely to delay completion of the Mercer Remuneration Report which is a Government priority. I have committed to publishing the details underpinning the review in view of the public interest in the matter. The report will provide a comprehensive and professional analysis of remuneration structures and levels across IBRC and the other Covered Banks both now and before the onset of the banking crisis.
