Domiciliary Care Allowance

To ask the Minister for Social Protection the total number of applications for domiciliary care allowance received in each of the past three years to date; the number approved; the number rejected; the number of cases granted on appeal; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [50136/12]

The number of applicants for DCA that were received, awarded and refused in each year from April 2009 to August 2012 is set out in table 1.
